4. Redirect to prevent stress
Observe when your child becomes distracted from things. What is it that distracts them? While a distraction can be a roadblock when you want your child to concentrate, you can use these distractions to your advantage. Regardless of whether the distraction is an event or an item, keep it around and you can use it to redirect your child away from future stressors. Making an effort to understand distractions will provide you with more understanding in regards to your child, and to your parenting style.
