Books to Help Kids with Autism Navigate Emotions and Social Cues

My Book Full of Feelings by Amy Jaffe and Luci Gardner

As any exasperated parent of a children with autism knows, emotions can be mismanaged and blown out of control into a meltdown. This book is a workbook, meant to go through by both parent and child. It helps your child put their emotions into perspective and give them a greater measure of control over their emotions. This can help them recognize that anger can be big or little, and that they do not need to express that anger in a big way. It is meant for any child on the spectrum, and any others who could do with learning more about their emotions as well.
