What kind of organizations and clubs are on campus? Is the college adequately prepared and knowledgeable regarding ASD (this is a big one, according to Felicia Hurewitz)? Do they offer good ways to get involved on campus?
Don't forget about dorms, too. Check and see if the dorm buildings on campus offer any single-bedroom dorms, as living alone can reduce stress and create a more peaceful and distraction-free environment. Does the campus allow summer move-in times? And who oversees the residential living; are there any mentors available?
