Helping Mothers Cope with Lupus

Do not be afraid to ask for help

There is no shame in asking for help.  Don’t be afraid to ask for help with the kids, to have another family member step-in to take the kids to extracurricular activities, or have a partner wake up for midnight feedings. Asking for help will relieve some of the insurmountable pressure that moms with lupus can feel.

If asking help from family members is not an option, research different organizations that will provide additional help at home or consider hiring a mother’s helper.
