Here's Why Kids Want to go to MDA Camp

Ella started to open up once she met new people and forged new relationships.

When Ella was awake, she swam every day, had three healthy meals, took up horseback riding and worked at arts and crafts. She met many new friends and forged relationships with the counselors. As Ella became more comfortable with her new friends and surroundings, she started to open up.

Ella had such a wonderful time at camp that she did not want to go home when her parents came to get her. Actually, she said, "No, I'm staying" when it was her time to go. As she bid farewell to her friends and counselors, her mom packed up and then they drove home.
