This photo was intended to be a family photo but it soon became a viral sensation. There has been a tremendous outpouring of emotional support through social media. Gloria’s sister, Grace, who loved the picture, shared it on her twitter page with the caption “My sister & her husband got tattoos of angel wings after their son died 2 years ago. They had a baby girl in June. This moved me to tears.” Shortly, it had earned over 70,000 likes and 20,000 shares. Many other people on Twitter felt a deep connection, commenting that they also had a child pass away from SMA.
