Perfecting the plan in time for World Autism Awareness Day
While the most important part may have been to make the decision and convince others at headquarters, the actual duty of executing Sensory Sensitive Sundays was no small feat. The events take on much more than simply opening two hours early, and require training, understanding, and organization.
What's more? Not only did Chuck E. Cheese want to start the initiative, but they wanted it to take off nationally in time for World Autism Awareness Day in 2017 - which left them with exactly six weeks to create (and perfect) their game plan.
