Fluoride. Fluoride. Fluoride.

Fluoride is crucial for your child's oral health. The water in your community might not have fluoride, and your child might be drinking water bottles, which also doesn't contain fluoride. Because of this, you might have to talk to your child's pediatrician to have fluoride supplements. While fluoride is important, too much of it can cause flurosis, leading to white spots on your teeth. Children who are under 2 or 3 should not be given fluoride toothpaste because they might swallow it.
