Transparent braces are more expensive than regular braces but it all depends on the doctor and the place. You may want to consider Invisalign.

I really don't know how to answer that question. I guess the best thing to
do is to talk with the DDS that you are interested in working with and have
him/her share with you the difference with price. I believe that if you
need to wear braces that consist of brackets, most DDS's are using the
transparent ones.
