Yes Albuterol generic inhalers are the most frequent treatment for asthma attacks with wheezing and cough. They are relatively safe if not used too frequently. they are dispensed by a physician's prescription.
If you have wheze and cough You should be evaluated by your doctor to learn the cause and have appropriate treatment provided

Albuteral is a bronchodilater it will help to open the airways , It is helpful as a rescue medicine in asthma and COPD and can help to relieve wheeze and cough but does not address the root cause of the problem. Again I encourage you to be exained and to not self treat- talk to yoir physician to get a diagnosois and a treatment plan
Albuterol is used as a rescue inhaler for episodes of cough and/or wheezing related to asthma.
Albuterol sulfate should only be used in case of an acute asthma attack, bout of coughing or shortness of breath.
It’s not a medication to keep asthma controlled. If there is a need for Albuterol use more then twice a week it may indicate you need to see a specialist, who will evaluate your asthma status and recommend you the right medication.
