Auditory hallucinations and anxiety?

I'm having trouble with hearing, breathing, the dark seems to trigger it and it causes me great anxiety when I hear it. No one else seems to hear it and it makes me embarrassed to ask for help.

Good morning.
Anxiety can create hallucinations
Increasingly disorganized thinking
Mental confusion
Auditory and visual hallucinations
Delusional thoughts
Long periods of stress can be the trigger for clinical anxiety, a medical condition. In the body, stress hormones, called cortisol and corticotropin, regulate how the body regulates the pressure. Stress and anxiety can really affect your daily life. Feeling embarrassed about this does not help you in any way. There is no need to feel embarrassed. You need to speak to your loved ones and also your primary care doctor.
Hi,

Thank you for your question. If you are seeing or hearing something that you think might not really be there in reality, I would recommend you seek professional mental health services for treatment of the hallucinations and anxiety.

I hope this has been helpful!

Yes, auditory hallucinations are hard to deal with if they are continually getting worse you can start with a psychiatric evaluation to rule out other disorders.
