Being exposed to COVID?

I have emphysema and am helping to host an outdoor engagement party this weekend. I have no major health issues as of yet from the emphysema. I am 62 years old and walk 3 miles a day. I stay active. My problem is one of the hosts has been diagnosed with COVID, but they are past the 15-day mark of contamination. This person will be quarantined, but I'm worried If I should even go to this party.

I would stay home even though you are not very symptomatic you still have lung scar and degeneration. There’s any chance of someone with Covid or unknown as to negative PCR‘s I would not go. If you do go I would wear a mask and make sure you carry hand disinfectant and stay distance from everybody at the party.
The person recovered from COVID-19 is not a threat, but you do not mention how many persons will attend nor of any details about possible contacts between them and the friend with Covid-19. The biggest challenge will be keeping masks on everyone, washing hands, and social distancing. If everyone is strict about the rules - see CDC guidelines - then you will be safe. That is a big if.
