“Blood after urinating?”
I urinated (did not pass any stool of any consistency) and had blood on toilet paper after wiping. I took clean paper to wipe both areas separately and blood showed again from the anus. There is no pain or irritation. If I wait 5 min and wipe again, there were traces the first time but not since. This has happened 3 times in the past 6 weeks (approx). I had a partial hysto in 2007.

Best to have a colonoscopy if blood is passing from the rectum and you are 48. May be you should get your first colonoscopy. It could be as simple as hemorrhoids though in your case.
