Blood test?

I had blood drawn today and I guess this was her first time so she didn’t do it well. She messed up one arm and went to my other one which is now kinda tingly and I can’t squeeze my fist. Is this normal?

Hi, some bruising after lab draw may be normal. This is because using a needle to withdraw blood punctures the skin and interrupts vessel integrity. Swelling, loss of movementfunction, and paresthesia numbness and tingling is not normal and needs to be evaluated in person by a provider. I hope this is helpful. Christen Kemp, DNP, FNPBC
No this is not normal. You need to see your Dr and let them check you out. Since it's the weekend, if it gets worse, or does not improve go to ER.

That is not normal, but can happen if she hit something other than the vein. If it continues, go be seen.
Hello, It is not normal, though I often see it when a hematoma occurs. blood bruise. Use warm compress for next 48 hours on the affected hand to reduce swelling and limit the bruise, thus increasing blood flow to the digits. If not better in 2448 hours seek Urgent Care or PCP.
