Bump on eyelid

There is a bump on my eyelid - it’s painless but I’m worried it’s been there longer than a year.

This most likely is a chalazion. It is one of many glands in your eyelids. It became clogged and ultimately infected. It treated promptly it can usually respond to medical therapy. After a year, it will probably require excision and drainage. It is a benign lesion and is more of a cosmetic issue than anything else
It is probably a chalazion but should be opened up. If suspicious a specimen should be sent to a pathogist.
Is it just on one side or both?
Hi there. That bumper looks like your lachrymal gland has prolapsed forward. I am thinking you should see an oculoplastic surgeon who can diagnose this for sure. They would be the ones most well-equipped to make sure the proper diagnosis is obtained. Do you know how to find someone like that? I have no idea where you live. Dr. Sheri Rowen.
