Neurologist Questions Neurologist

CSF leak or no CSF leak?

On November 2015 I underwent a cavernous sinus meningioma resection. During this procedure, the neurosurgeon cut into the nerve bundle that services the right/front quadrant of my head, rendering that area appx. 95% numb and erasing all use of my right eye. The numbness runs from the center of my face to my right ear. Ever since that day, I have experienced daily nausea, imbalance, diarrhea with extreme cases being shooting pints of fluid out of my rectum every 30 to 40 minutes on bad days, along with a fairly steady drainage of fluid out of my left nostril when I am active, and excessive fluid build-up in my right ear canal. I consulted a neurologist to explore the possibility of a CSF leak. I was told by the PA that she "didn't believe" and "didn't think" it could possibly be a CSF leak because I did not mention a headache. 1/4 of my head is numb. I may not even know I HAVE a headache.

The evidence points to a CSF leak, but a neurologist's PA (affiliated with the neurosurgeon who performed the botched tumor resection) tells me it can't be. My feeling is she was playing "cover your ass" for the neurosurgeon instead of taking my concerns seriously. I fired that neurologist on the spot 3 years ago and have never gone back to any for-profit health professionals since, and I doubt I will EVER trust a for-profit healthcare professional again in this life.

What are your thoughts? Would you also play CYA for a neurosurgeon as you are for-profit as well and throwing doubt on one of your own is taboo? Should I just move to another country where I can get decent healthcare without the runaround or the possibility of bankruptcy and living in poverty for the remainder of my life for the crime of seeking decent healthcare in the US?

Consult another Neurosurgeon. Consult Neurology. Consult Functional Medicine. Work on leaky gut. Start acupuncture with Moxibustion.
