Can I take anxiety medication without blood work?

I have a severe needle phobia. Can I have anxiety medication without blood work? It would work best for me, I don’t take any medication. I’m 19 ftm or female to male transgender I haven’t started my transition yet.

Always a good idea to get blood work prior to taking MH meds

Yes, you can. Talk with your primary care doctor.
Most anti anxiety medications can be taken without blood work. However, a baseline blood work is recommended to rule out any organic cause of anxiety.
