The short answer is yes if it’s from neuromuscular skelter issues but if it’s due to blood pressure issues or cardiovascular issues there needs to be a better physical exam and work up to include MRI possibly.
They can but I would say it's more rehab and physical therapy.
Depending on the cause of the leg muscle weakness, it’s duration and severity, chiropractic may be able to strengthen any weak muscle. Chiropractors work with the spinal nerves that send and receive messages to the associated muscles and organs. By adjusting the spine, the particular muscle that is involved can improve in strength. In addition the chiropractor will give specific exercises to assist in the muscle rehabilitation. Since chiropractic is a safe and natural way to promote healing and wellness, it would be a no brainer to give it a try for a weak leg muscle.
Leg weakness can indeed be improved or eliminated with chiropractic care; however, it can also be a symptom of a more serious problem that should be evaluated orthopedically or with a neurologist. Such determination is made by the chiropractor after a thorough history, examination, and x-ray. In many cases, a reasonable treatment plan is initiated by the chiropractor in order to ascertain if the patient will respond favorably.
Yes and no, depending on the cause of leg weakness. Chiropractors are very good at assessing and diagnosing the cause of leg weakness. They can help you directly or refer you to the best medical professional to treat your condition.
