Yes they can; generally a periodontist does it but there are General dentist who are highly trained can also do it.
A dentist can do a gum graft legally, but we are not trained to do it in dental school. They must receive additional training to do it. Typically gum grafts are done by a periodontist.
Yes it can.
Yes
Normally that would be done by a periodontist- a gum specialist.
It is usually a periodontist who does grafting. Sometimes a general dentist can also do that, but it's very rare.
A dental specialist called a periodontist does gum grafts. There has been a lot of progress in this field, so finding a good one, who is up to date with the most recent techniques is important.
Yes! Dentists can do a gum graft. But, it depends on the specialty. Some general dentists are well trained and has a lot of experience performing gum grafts. Periodontist, surgically trained prosthodontist, oral surgeons can perform gum grafts. Look into pin hole surgery for gum grafting. Those surgeries are not invasive at all.

Yes. Actually, this is almost always done by Periodontists, who are Dentists that specialize in gum issues. General dentists also sometimes do this.
Usually, gingival gum grafts are performed by a specialist/a periodontist- but som general dentists have had extensive training with gingival grafting. You may want to check what their credentials are and/or how many procedures they have done etc to make sure you are in good & competent hands!
