Can a heart repair itself after a heart attack?

I am a 39 year old female. I wonder if a heart can repair itself after a heart attack?

Depending on the extent of the heart attack, some parts of the heart muscle can repair itself in mild heart attacks. However, if the damage is extensive, no self repair is possible.
It depends on the degree of heart attack. Survived after heart attack may show a patch of infarction.
Unfortunately, the heart cannot. Once heart tissue dies in a heart attack, it stays dead. The heart can sometimes recover its function overall, but the area that got affected by the heart attack will always remain damaged.
Yes. To some degree
