Yes
Yes. Shortness of breath is related to your lungs and probably your heart also. A good practitioner should be able to help you using acupuncture, herbs, and sometimes massage.
Yes.
If you have shortness of breath consistently then you should go to the ER or contact your MD for laboratory test and imaging.

Otherwise yes Acupuncture and Herbs can help with respiratory issues.
It depends what is the cause for your symptoms. In general acupuncture can improve breathing.
Good luck

Depending on the cause of the condition, acupuncture is usually of great benefit to the condition of shortness of breath. In fact, I have asthma and acupuncture has improved my life with regard to breathing immensely from before I received treatments.

Yes, depending on the cause, acupuncture can help with shortness of breath. But it can also be a symptom of some serious and even life-threatening issues such as congestive heart failure or pulmonary diseases. This is something I would definitely see my western medical doctor for before seeking the help of an acupuncturist.
Yes, acupuncture can help with shortness of breath.
Do you know why you have shortness of breath? Is this a case of COPD? Asthma? Emphysema? Do you have anemia or a cardiac condition? Any of these, plus a raft of other potential conditions, could cause shortness of breath. Acupuncture is not going to be an appropriate treatment in all cases.

If you haven't already done so, I'd suggest your first stop should be your primary care physician and, possibly, a pulmonary specialist. If the problem is garden variety COPD or asthma, then acupuncture can probably help. If neither your primary care nor the specialist can figure out what's going on, then acupuncture might be able to help. If this is something like cancer, a heart issue, some sort of autoimmune anemia or some other fairly serious condition, acupuncture might help, but not by itself - you'll want to combine conventional medicine with Chinese medicine at this point.
