Can chiropractors make arthritis worse?

I am a 40 year old female. I want to know if a chiropractor can make arthritis worse?

No, it will help. Use ice instead of heat as ice is for "itis" and move, stretch, and walk as motion lubricates joints.
When you have arthritis, movement can decrease your pain and stiffness, improve your range of motion, strengthen your muscles, and increase your endurance. There was a time that osteoarthritis was considered to be the result of too much use of a joint. It was the inevitable result of years of abuse, friction, and wear and tear. However, movement actually keeps the joints healthier longer. And part of this has to do with how movement helps the flow of synovial fluid through the joint, keeping cartilage pumped up. Without movement, synovial fluid slowly drains out of the cartilage, causing the cartilage to flatten and become more susceptible to damage. The goal goal of chiropractic treatment is to restore normal movement to joints (insofar as possible). Therefore, in most cases, chiropractic will help arthritic joints.
Hi there, no in fact chiropractors who are skilled in adjusting techniques will prevent arthritic development or progression!
It is unlikely that Chiropractic treatments can make arthritis worse. If you have arthritis that is getting worse with Chiropractic care, then I recommend going to a Rheumatologist for more testing.
Not likely. In fact, many chiropractors work to prevent arthritis.
