In my field of Ear rflexology, chronic neck pain can be fixed. After the sessions it will be your responsibility to avoid abusing your body with exercises that do not fit your system, get away from certain foods that trigger the pain or simply trigger an ear point suggested by the therapist.

"Fixed" for these folks typically means some level of maintenance treatment following an initial loading dose of acupuncture.
The remaining neck pain patients fall into more of a soft tissue injury category. Sometimes it's an old whiplash injury, sometimes the cause is unknown. These folks usually don't have any structural issues in the spine itself. In this case "fixed" can sometimes mean a complete cessation of pain.
