“Can dental treatment cause TMJ?”
I am a 33 year old female. I want to know if dental treatment can cause TMJ?

TMJ is a name of the jaw joint; Tempromansibular Joint. Everyone has it. TMJ disorder is a condition caused by variety of issues one of them is unbalanced bite or occlusion caused by placement of dental crowns. Basically, if the bite is off, one can get pain in the jaw. There are other reasons as well, like grinding and clenching your teeth, misplaced discs, inflammation of the joint, arthritis, etc.
