no
Most doctors will use steroids to decrease the symptoms of heel pain. This is only a temporary solution. Vigorous massage, ice, inserts and physical therapy can all be of benefit. If the heel pain has lasted longer than 6 months you may want to consider Orthotripsy for the resolution of your symptoms.
Partly, stretching, icing and supportive therapy are also usually helpful.
Depends on the cause of the heel pain. If you have plantar fasciitis sometimes oral anti-inflammatory medication can be effective in reducing inflammation and eradicating problem. Other causes the field pain may require more than just medication. Recommend  you see a podiatrist. Thank you Jonathan M. THAT IS A VERY VAGUE QUESTION. ALL DEPENDS THE CAUSE OF THE PAIN. SO YOUR ANSWER IS THAT: DEPENDS ON THE CAUSE OF THE PAIN. IF YOU HEVA AN INJURY, FOR EXAMPLE, IT MIGHT ALIVATE BUT NOT FIXED, SO YOU WOULD HAVE TO GO TO A PODIATRIST AND FIND OUT WHAT IS CAUSING THE PAIN.
