Can low red blood cells trigger a heart attack?

My 13 year old daughter has low red blood cells and sometimes gets chest pain. Can low red blood cells trigger a heart attack?

In theory, yes. But I doubt it is an issue here. His shamus would have to be very extreme and there would usually need to be some coronary artery narrowing.
Red Blood Cells carry oxygen and a number less than 50% 0f normal might lead to a heart attack but usually a person feels very tired and unable to run before they reach that level.
