Can mini implants be used on the upper jaw?

I am a 39 year old male. I want to know if mini implants can be used on the upper jaw?

Mini implants have a poorer prognosis on the upper jaw because the upper jaw bone is more porous and by decreasing the length of the implant increases the likelihood of the implant loosening over time.
Mini implants in limited use, ie.,missing upper anterior tooth can be used successfully. It is not wise to use multiple mini implants to stabilize a upper denture.
Mini implants were never supposed to be used for long term. Therefore I do not recommend them. If you need retention for your upper denture, I would invest in @ least two, preferably 4 locator implants for your upper denture
They CAN be used, but are not quite as successful in the upper jaw as in the lower jaw. The treating dentist should be able to analyze what is best in your situation.

How many mini implants? How many teeth will they replace? How much chewing force will they be expected to withstand? How is the bone? Can they be used, yes, maybe.
They can be used in the upper jaw, but are not considered a long-term solution. They are typically placed as a temporary until the primary implants heal and can be loaded.
Hope this helps.
You can use mini implants on both upper and lower jaw, if there is enough bone to support them.
Yes, sometimes, but they are not as successful as they are on lower.
