OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions Low Sperm Count

Can sperm count be increased with exercise?

My husband's sperm count is on the lower side and I am unable to conceive. Can exercise or increased activity in general help in increasing sperm count?

This had been a subject of debate in the scientific community. But there are no well controlled standardized study and protocols available. Much as exercise could improve overall health and may be associated with improving sperm counts.
It can, but not that effective. You should consult a reproductive endocrinologist; they have ways to inject sperm like IUI (means intrauterine insemination).
She should be assessed by a urologist for further tests.
Yes
A healthy lifestyle always helps, which is exercise, healthy diet, weight loss, and no smoking. But do not do just lifestyle changes and lose precious reproductive years. He needs to be seen by a urologist and both of you have to see a fertility specialist. Your OBGyn should be able to help with the referrals.

Good luck to you both!
