Dermatologist Questions Wrinkles

Can the signs of aging really be reversed?

I am starting to get fine lines and wrinkles which makes my face look very dull and tired. Is there a way that these can be reversed? I'm not interested in surgical procedures or anything invasive, or harmful to my skin.

Stay out of the sun which ages the skin and get on one of the products containing retinoic acid. Helps to reduce fine lines. You will need a prescription from your MD
Yes by filler Botox, lasers and retinol peels.
Skin can be rejuvenated with topical cream, serum (like vitamin C, Retin A), Ultrasound, Radiofrequency, IPL. Microneedling can also be used - that’s minimally invasive. BOTOX and Filler can also improve the look. But the most important thing is to use sunscreen on daily basis. The best is a sunscreen that contain titanium dioxide, zinc oxide and iron oxide. With these 3 ingredients, the whole spectrum of light is blockex and damage of skin caused by the sun.
The answer to this question might take an entire book to cover. Prevention is the best approach: wear sunscreens, avoid the sun, don't smoke, Retinal A and lubricate the skin. Botox, fillers, lasers, chemical peels, etc., are but a few treatment choices. Some procedures such as photo facial (IPL) will actually reset the genes and turn back the clock.
