Can too much screen time damage your eyes?

I am a 27 year old male. I wonder if too much screen time can damage your eyes?

If your vision is good with correction if needed or without correction, the main problem with prolonged screen time is fatigue. It is important to take breaks. If you have a refractive error or presbyopia and don't have your glasses or contact lenses, this will cause more and faster eye fatigue symptoms during screen time.

Hello, and thank you for your question. Up to today, and to my knowledge, there is no evidence that screen time is harmful to your eyes in any way. In my experience, anyone who tells you that it is harmful has something to sell you.
Can make dry eyes worse, but no issues with intraocular structures.
