Can you be put to sleep for wisdom teeth removal while pregnant?

I am a 25 year old female. I want to know if you can be put to sleep for wisdom teeth removal while pregnant?

It is better to wait after delivery.

It is certainly possible to have anesthesia while you’re pregnant. It is not advised. As far as is known, anesthetic agents have no adverse effects on fetal development. Nevertheless, it is thought prudent to avoid any exposure except in emergencies. In addition, there are physiological changes in the mother starting in the second trimester that increase the risks of anesthesia.

All elective surgical procedures should be avoided during pregnancy, especially during the first trimester.
