I am a 39 year old female. I want to know if you can have a bronchoscopy without sedation?

Yes, you can, but it may be quite unpleasant and uncomfortable.
No. The amount of stimulation from the intubation as well as the procedure would cause coughing and would be very difficult for you to tolerate without sedation.

No. Your gag reflex has to be blunted
Generally the procedure requires some sort of sedation being wide awake won’t be a fun thing to do if someone is looking into your wind pipe.
