Can you straighten your spine if you have scoliosis?

I am a 27 year old male. I want to know if you can straighten your spine if you have scoliosis?

The age of the patient with scoliosis is very important to their likelihood of a positive response. The younger scoliosis is diagnosed and treated, the better. Usually, the curve measurements can decrease with chiropractic care but don't count on it being completely straight afterward, especially with large curve angles.
Yes, but you have to find the right chiropractor to do so.
Yes
People's scoliosis varies with degrees and severity. The best advice would
be to go get your scoliosis evaluated by taking x rays and having the
measurements taken to see the severity of your curvatures. There are
different factors, inluding age, any degeneration, etc can be all
addressed and an honest plan of care if they are able to help.
Sorry, you are too old. Any change of your spine has to be done before your bones harden around 13 years old.
At 27 years old you are not going to straighten the spine. The goal should be preventative from it worsening and making sure it is not causing pain.
Thank you for your question. A full evaluation is needed, along with x-rays, to determine if non-invasive care, such as Chiropractic, will help improve your spinal curvature. Our office would couple Chiropractic care, corrective exercises and therapies to help alleviate any pain associated with your spine. Combining Chiropractic care, exercises and therapies have been shown to improve scoliosis curves, in some cases. In the case that you would need further evaluation, we can refer you to a scoliosis clinic.
