Dentist Questions Canker Sore

Canker Sore

Hello,
I had a canker sore develop and it hurts when I swallow on the left side of my mouth. My lymph node also hurts on the same side. Is this normal. I believe it is a canker sore. I can’t see it, but the pain reminds me of it, and it hurts when I move my tongue.

Yes unfortunately a canker in floor of mouth or tongue can produce all those symptoms. Go see a dentist if symptoms don’t get better after 10 days.
It could be a canker sore, and your lymph node may be swollen if you are catching a cold or recovering from one. To help with the canker sore you can see your dentist for laser treatment or silver nitrate.
You should see a doctor or dentist immediately to have this checked.
please find over the counter meds for relief. you should have it checked by a dentist if soreness does not go away after 3 wks to rule out oral cancer
