Vascular Surgeon Questions Cardiologist

Compression of nerve vs artery?

I have been suffering from a collection of symptoms including visual disturbances, ringing in my ears, body pain, fatigue, headaches, and blackouts that cause me to collapse. Recently, I was told that my carotid artery was being compressed and I found this https://www.caringmedical.com/prolotherapy-news/cervical-spine-instability-pinches-arteries-disrupts-impedes-retards-blood-flow-brain/ while researching what that might mean for me. I was excited because I've been suffering from these symptoms for years and thought we had finally found the cause, but when I contacted my neurologist it was clarified to me that what was found on my MRI was that my root nerve was being compressed by my artery, not the other way around. My question is if it's still possible that something like this is what is causing my issue? If either the nerve could also be compressing the artery or if this is a separate issue that has not been noticed? Or if this was the issue would it be so noticeable that there's no way they could have missed it?
