“Contagious stage of Covid?”
I have been fever-free for twelve days but still am testing positive for covid or variant, am I still contagious? How long can it take to get a negative test, I have skin cancer and need to see my doc, which requires a negative test?

Medications: None
Conditions: Skin cancer and multiple positive test for covid.

Hi, sorry to hear about skin cancer. It should not continue to be positive unless it is an antibody test, I can't quite make out the photo you sent. After 12 days you should no longer be contagious. It is possible you got another variant or a coronavirus that cross-reacts with the test. Get better soon.
