Oftentimes, SSRI's are used to help lower libido.
Prozac may help. Masturbation is a safe outlet. It can be normal for your age group. Sometimes hypersexuality may be a symptom of bipolar disorder if you are having a decreased need for sleep, mood swings, racing thoughts. Also, consider if you have a sexual addiction and can not be alone and any warm body would do. Talk to your doctor if you feel it is a problem.
SSRIs generally would be a possible option for controlling sexual desires. An example of an SSRI is Prozac or fluoxetine, but there are 5 more medications in this category. SSRIs may work in two ways: 1) They are indicated for the treatment of OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) and a sexual compulsion may be considered a type of OCD, 2) they have sexual side effects which decrease sexual desire. Most of the time, we are trying to avoid sexual side effects, but in this case, we may welcome them.
