OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions OB-GYN

Could I be pregnant?

I am almost 3 days late for my period, I usually always have a 25-26 day cycle, I don’t think I’ve ever been more than a day late before. For the past 5 days, I have been having mild/moderate cramping (not as bad as menstrual cramps). I woke up the last 3 mornings feeling like I’m about to start my period any minute, but nothing. I took a test one day after my missed period but it was negative (I took it in the evening, not sure if that makes a difference) I should also note that I had unprotected sex on or around my ovulation date. I am not on any form of birth control. My last period was November 2nd, 2021. Did I test too early? Is it normal to have consistent cramps for days leading up to a positive test?

Sometimes ovulation can be off a bit and delay a menses. I would check it again for up to another week, if it is still negative and you are not having a period, then you need to call your doctor to get an evaluation to see why your period is delayed.
Possibly, but recommend getting a blood test.
