Crown replacement

I've had a dental crown for years but the appearance and the sizing of it is uncomfortable and bothering. There's this hole but that's just the appearance of it. I have Medicaid and I was wondering if they'll cover for it if I asked for a replacement.

Go back and see the Dentist and ask him to fix the crown right . Advise the Dentist that you are not pleased with the crown
Hi! Without a radiograph it’s difficult to say, but most likely if it’s just the porcelain (pretty) layer that’s worn down in the center, they’ll consider it a cosmetic as opposed to a functional issue. Depending on your insurance, they may only cover a new crown if it’s needed due to decay or fracture vs just worn down to the silver layer.
The crown has a metal base under the porcelain and you can see the metal at that spot. Tooth under is still protected there and crown replacement not necessary
Hello, Medicaid is a medical insurance, you would need to have dental coverage to be able to get it covered. Also, the insurance companies allow a crown to be replaced every 5-10 years depending on the insurance company. You would have to reach out to your Medicaid and find out if they cover dental treatment and what Dentist accepts your insurance.
