Antidepressants can help if stress leads to anxiety or depression, but theyre not usually the first treatment for everyday stress. Therapy and lifestyle changes also help. If you have any further questions or need more clarity, please consult with a psychiatrist. If youre in Texas, we welcome you to reach out to www.MidCitiesPsychiatry, were here to help you.
A proper evaluation would help you sort out if it is mere stress or also some component of depression. Therapy would be best if it is just stress.
