Many--yes, Me--no
Yes. All orthopedic surgeons are trained in the evaluation and treatment of back problems. Some, however, only do evaluations and do not do surgery.
It depends upon the scope of the Orthopedic Surgeon's practice. Many do. I did. Generally, they are trained to treat it. You would need to ask the individual doctor if he/she treats back problems in their practice.

Yes, every day. Be sure to ask before you make the appointment, though. Some do refuse to see patients with back pain.
Hope it helps!!

Some general orthopedics will treat back pain, but it may depend on your injury. You may want to see an orthopedic spine specialist.
Thank you.
Yes orthopedic doctors treat ailments of the entire musculoskeletal system including the back and spine. Most orthopedic doctors specialize in certain parts of the body so I recommend you find a doctor who primarily focuses their practice on treating back/spine injuries.
Yes, but keep in mind that over 80% of back pain is self limited and will improve with simple measures such as rest, NSAIDs, stretching, heat/ice. Orthopedic doctors are surgeons, that is what our training is and the service we provide. Most back pain can be managed by your family doctor. If it becomes radiating pain that does not improve, he can then order imaging and refer to an orthopedic surgeon. Just keep in mind we are not pain management or therapy we are surgery
Some do but not all. Some orthopedic surgeons decide to continue their training and become spine surgeons. Due to the complexity of the spine most of us do not however.
Yes, they do.
Many orthopedic doctors treat back pain.
