Arthritis is tricky. That being said, chiropractic treatments are known to reduce inflammation and swelling, two hallmarks of RA. To be sure, there are other symptoms of RA that cannot be changed, bony deformations in the joints and the underlying cause of RA - an autoimmune reaction. It is never a bad thing to improve your quality of life, body function, and overall health too - some things chiropractic excels in achieving. Have your chiropractor examine you and recommend a course of care appropriate for you. Best of health.
While it will not cure your condition, it can help alleviate some of the symptoms

It can help mitigate pain and increase range of motion.
Yes, Arthritis gets worse if you do not get.
It can definitely help with body’s mobility. Hence, it will help ease the pain and discomfort.
Rheumatoid Arthritis is complex genetic and bi chemical problem. Chiropractic care can certainly help you feel more comfortable. If the chiropractor works with nutrition they may be of more help to you. You may be aware that it can result from infection as well. So blood work is always necessary with this condition.

Greetings, hope this email finds you well. Chiropractic care is very helpful for patients that have RA. If you have any question or concern don’t hesitate to communicate with us.

Have a nice day!
Rheumatoid arthritis is an immune challenge associated with inflammation. Non-force or low force forms of Chiropractic are appropriate. I do not advise traditional high velocity forms for this condition.

I'm not aware of any evidence suggesting that chiropractic care has a specific role in meeting the treat to target goals for RA: reducing inflammation, preventing joint damage, preventing disability. In my forty years of personal experience treating patients in our rheumatology practice, some patients have reported short-term benefits from chiropractic care for minor back and other musculoskeletal symptoms, but not for potentially serious autoimmune and inflammatory disorders like rheumatoid arthritis.
Good evening,

I hope you are well.

Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease characterized by big red swollen inflamed joints. It is treated with immunosuppressive medications to quiet down the inflammation and other modalities that may provide symptomatic relief. Unfortunately, chiropractic care typically would not be expected to provide significant benefit for rheumatoid arthritis as a treatment modality. It may provide some benefit in other forms of arthritis such as osteoarthritis however.
I hope the above helps you.

Chiropractors have extensive training in musculoskeletal conditions. While they may not be able to cure RA (since it is a systemic autoimmune disease), they can make recommendations that may alleviate some of your suffering, after an examination and history.
Unfortunately Rheumatoid Arthritis can be aggravated by Chiropractic adjustments in certain people. Others with RA have found relief with Chiropractic care in addition to other treatment options.
