Does tooth whitening damage your teeth?

I am a 29 year old male. I want to know if tooth whitening damages your teeth?

It all depends on what you are using and how often you are doing it. There are safe methods. There are unsafe methods. There are safe methods that done too frequently are unsafe. What method do I recommend? That’s patient specific.



No, it does not. However, it may cause your teeth to be sensitive. It may cause your gums to be irritated.
When done properly, I have not ever known of damage done to any of my patient's teeth from whitening. Do yourself a favor and do it under the supervision of a dentist.
Too much will, everything in moderation- whiten the upper arch and use the lower as a control, if no change then stop and whiten the lower with a similar regimen .
