“Drug screening?”
I've got to take a drug screen this week. I've had to take a few extra hydrocodone this month, so I took all but four of my tablets. This is Sunday, my test is this Friday, I'll take my last 4 Friday morning. I need it to show up on my drug screen. Will I still be positive?

Yes, it will be positive. It will not be out of your system for a while. However, you need to make sure it is ok with your physician before you take extra hydrocodone. It is a dangerous drug and you increase your risk for overdose by taking more than prescribed. Please make sure you are open and honest with your physician about how much you need to take to get rid of your pain. They can adjust your prescription to make sure it is helping you.
You only need to take one the night before and maybe one the morning of and it will definitely show up. You should only take this medicine when absolutely needed. And you should have a bona fide prescription from a licensed physician for this medication.
