Esophagitis

I was diagnosed with esophagitis two weeks ago and have been on pantoprazole and famotidine and sucralfate but my throat is still killing me. Should I go back to the doctor? Is it just something that takes longer to heal?

You don’t need the carafate and famotidine. I would go up on the Pantoprazole to 40 mg Po twice daily (30 min prior to breakfast and dinner) for the next 4 weeks. If no improvement, then recommend EGD.
