Fell on my knee & have been vomiting since

My left leg gave out & i fell onto my right knee very hard yesterday evening. My knee is fine, just rug burn. I have been vomiting since. Did not hit my head. Fell as perfectly as possible. Im a 24 year dialysis patient that was in the hospital 2x in the last week for muscles being strained bc of colitis, pneumonia & bronchitis. I dont know if theres a relation between all this. I took 2 doses of zofran sublingual for a total of 10 minutes of relief. Cant keep meds down. Does this warrant another trip to the ER?

Hi thanks for your question.

This is a complex case. The main reason for your symptoms may include electrolyte imbalance. Yes with complications inyour history you should follow up to the nearest ER and your nephrologist as it could worsen
You may have a concussion or other injury and should be evaluated with diagnostic imaging.

Personally I have no idea if the knee and fall situation is related to your vomiting but given your history I do think the vomiting should be worked up. I would highly recommend seeing your primary care physician, ER doctor or at least your renal doctor when you go to Dialysis. Discussing it with them will warrant probably some more imaging and/or labs which would help With understanding more of what it could be. A person with dialysis cannot go days and days with poor oral intake and ongoing vomiting. The electrolytes are too sensitive and part of the dialysis deals with electrolyte management as well as removing waste, So it's important that you have this looked at right away.
Yes, you need a full work up this is more likely not related to your knee. Please return to the Emergency room, then let me know how you made out.
