Help with contraception?

I have taken an emergency contraceptive pill. I am not on any, but was waiting to start . I’m on HRT. Estrogel and utrogestan. I was due to start 1 x a day, pill and 1x utrogestan a day.

My question is now, can I start having taken an emergency contraceptive on Sunday, or do I wait for my period to start?

I’m assuming you are peri menopausal and having a period if you are concerned about pregnancy and took emergency contraception. Since you are concerned about pregnancy, it is a good idea to wait for your period and then start HRT.
Take care and stay safe!
You should call the doctor prescribing your medications to get clarification on when to start your medication given you are on other hormone medications.
It is very unlikely to get pregnant at 50yo. I have rarely had a pregnancy at 45-47yo. I think just wait on your cycle to start.
