“Herpes question”
I had a brief unprotected encounter 9.5 weeks ago. I took a 10 panel STD test 11 days later and 4 weeks after the encounter. I tested normal for each STD including herpes 1 and 2. I took another herpes 1 and 2 test at 8 weeks post encounter and it was normal. The test is the Herpeselect Elsa IGG test. I have not had sores, pain urinating, discharge, fever, or flu symptoms. The 10 panel also tested for gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, HIV, and 3 hepatitis.
My question is, can I feel confident with my 3 negative herpes tests and get rid of this anxiety?
