How can I lose weight with my diabetes?

I am a diabetic and I want to lose weight. However, I always have trouble dieting. Is there a way to lose weight without dieting?

Not really. In general, to lose weight, you have to burn more calories than you take in; a calorie deficit of 500 calories per day will add up to 1 pound of weight loss per week. It is really hard to burn calories by exercise - a 180-lb person burns about 100 calories per mile walking or running. It is a lot easier to create a deficit by reducing caloric intake.
