Hand Surgeon Questions Tremor

How can I reduce my hand tremors?

I am 57 years old and I am experiencing hand tremors that arise all of a sudden. My blood pressure seems to be on the higher side and the doctor has indicated that it could be one of the reasons behind the tremors. What can i do to reduce these hand tremors?

Hands by themselves do not create tremors. I would consult with a neurologist, preferably one that specializes in movement disorders.
I would seek a Neurology consult
Hand tremors may be a sign of a more neurological issue. I am unaware of high blood pressure directly causing hand tremors. I might ask my primary care physician to evaluate several common blood laboratory levels or even ask for a referral to a neurologist for evaluation.
It is important to always seek a medical evaluation by a licensed professional to ensure it is not the manifestation of something more serious. You also want to seek help sooner rather than later to prevent any further damage to the area.
follow up with neurologist
I would recommend that you see a neurologist for a work-up to see what might be causing your tremors. Once you are diagnosed, you may be able to find a treatment.
I recommend you see a neurologist to determine the cause and get the appropriate treatment recommendations.
